Jamie McCutchen, P.E.
President, Project Engineer
Jamie founded CCAD Engineering in March of 1999 in order to provide civil engineering and consulting services for developers, architects and municipalities in all phases of site work related projects. He attended Clemson University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1992. Jamie began his career as Staff Engineer in Environmental Services at Law Engineering in Raleigh, NC, and subsequently moved to Greenville in 1994 to work with Site Design. His expertise lies in designing commercial sites and residential subdivision lot layouts, stormwater and erosion control plans, sewer and roadway plans and profiles. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia.
Jamie is also founder and partner of SW Fee Saver, which aids commercial property owners in obtaining Stormwater Fee Credits. In 2013, Jamie invented the Marlee Float™ skimmer, an erosion control device used in sediment basins and permanent BMPs. The device is manufactured and distributed by SW FeeSaver. See more here.
Timothy L. (Chip) Buchanan, Jr., E.I.T.
Chip graduated Cum Laude from Clemson University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He has since worked as a Project Manager and Estimator with experience in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, HydroCAD, Hydraflow Hydrographs, and SEDCAD 4, amongst others. At CCAD, Chip currently prepares Site Development plans for commercial, industrial and residential projects, writes Engineering reports to be submitted to municipalities for land disturbance permitting and models Stormwater for quantity and quality. Before joining CCAD, Chip was also a Project Manager/Estimator at a construction company.
Senior Project Manager
Dave brings over 30 years of engineering and construction experience to the team. His experience includes civil engineering site design, project manager, builder, developer, construction manager and inspector. He is responsible for commercial and residential subdivision land development and planning.
Dave provides land development consultation and works with clients to plan project scopes and objectives to produce proposals for contracting projects. He is also very experienced with onsite construction management, plan compliance and certification.
Dan Pellicano, P.E.
Jonathan brings to CCAD more than 20 years of experience in drafting and design. He excels in AutoCAD, where he has held positions drawing and correcting civil drawings which included layouts, profiles, grading, water and sewer plans, as well as detail sheets and conceptual site plans. After graduating from Greenville Technical College in 1991 with his Associates in Engineering Graphics Technology, Jonathan worked for over 11 years with local Freeland & Kauffman, as well as AC&S Engineering and Surveying. At CCAD, Jonathan provides GIS and survey information while preparing concept plans, designing sanitary lines and drawing profiles. He brings a wealth of CADD knowledge to the team and proves to be a great help on any project he tackles.
Melanie comes to CCAD as an honor graduate from Greenville Technical College with an Associate of Art degree. She was president of Greenville Tech’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society in 2015. She is currently attending Greenville Tech in the Architectural Engineering Technologies program with sights on transferring to Clemson University. At CCAD, Melanie assists with drafting, land planning, engineering, permitting, construction management, field inspections, and other project-related requirements.
Shawn brings 8 years of professional experience in civil engineering, and land planning to CCAD. He has significant experiences with many phases of design, planning, and development while working with both private and municipal clients. Shawn’s past project involvements include public schools, universities, public parks, commercial development, and church/office/retail facilities.
Construction Manager and Inspector
Quinn’s role with CCAD is to assist with field needed construction observation and certification. He is experienced with local authority construction regulations and is responsible for certifying construction means, method and procedures in the field and at construction sites. Quinn is also experienced with utility testing procedures including sewer, water and storm drainage. As a site inspector, Quinn observes project progress and provides status and certification reports.
